Cravings Cupcakery was built on a love for sweet moments and incredible flavors originally sparked by our wonderful founder Carie Bovill, after more than 21 years of serving her country in the U.S. Air Force, founder, Carie decided to serve cake. 

Today Cravings Cupcakery is proudly owned and operated by Alejandra Kinzer, a dedicated mother of three, and a culinary professional who is carrying the bakery’s sweet legacy into the future. She holds a Master of Business Administration alongside a Professional Pastry Chef degree from the renowned Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

For Alejandra taking over Cravings Cupcakery isn’t just about business it’s the culmination of 25 years journey of hard work and the American dream.

Alejandra is dedicated to keeping the beloved founding recipes and traditions alive, while bringing her own world-class culinary expertise and strategic vision to the bakery. When you try our sweets, you are experiencing hard work with love and the highest-quality most delicious cupcakes with a touch of professional pastry perfection.

Our from-scratch recipes are tried and true to what makes Cravings Cupcakery special. Real ingredients, real desserts made with care–no mass production. Just pure decadence that satisfies your Cravings. Our approach is simple–we treat our Cravers like family. 

Cravings Cupcakery has been featured on Food Network’s Cake Wars (Season 4, Trolls episode). We’ve earned our wings as a Sugar Angel, baking a difference for families impacted by the critical illness of a child, through the nonprofit organization, Icing Smiles. To support the families of military members we’ve donated our creations to Operation Homefront. We regularly donate to local churches and schools.
